Cities, villages and military areas have been rebuilt from the ground up. Dense vegetation, abandoned vehicles, damaged roads, new obstacles and additional environmental details give familiar locations a much stronger post-apocalyptic atmosphere.
The goal is not to turn DayZ into a different game. The classic survival experience remains intact, while the world becomes denser and more varied. Every journey should once again bring uncertainty, exploration and discovery.
More vegetation, new obstacles and countless small details change routes, sightlines and combat spaces.
No traders, no teleporting and no kits. Classic PvP and survival remain at the core.
Reworked towns, villages, military zones and interiors.
More building options and more freedom through an expanded base-building system.
Dense vegetation and new paths reshape familiar travel and PvP routes.
Loot, explore, fight, build and survive - without shortcuts.
The second map expansion adds additional points of interest and completely new areas to Chernarus. Towns and villages can be expanded selectively without replacing the entire map.
New POIs and redesigned areas create additional destinations away from the familiar standard routes. Exploration stays rewarding even for players who already know Chernarus extremely well.
Individual towns and villages can be expanded selectively. The new areas can therefore be combined cleanly with the existing world and extended step by step.
Heavier overgrowth and new environmental details make the world feel noticeably more abandoned.
The new town and village areas can be used individually and combined to match the server concept.
According to the Workshop description, the expansion is designed with optimization in mind and is intended to run without additional FPS loss.
